HOW DOES PETSMS WORK?
Register your pet/s online here with PETSMS. If they go missing the finding party can text your pets ID to our national number 19 937 767(19 YES SMS).
Instantly you will receive an SMS and an email informing you that your family pet has been located.
The SMS will provide you with the finding parties mobile phone number, you can then contact them and make arrangement to be reunited with your pet.
In the mean time the finding party will also receive an SMS confirming your receipt of the SMS and details that you provided upon registration about your pet. This will help the finding party to comfort your pet until you arrive.

Using PETSMS eliminates unnecessary delays in reuniting your family with your pet/s.
Whilst microchips are effective they are beleived to be harmfull to your pet and studies indicate that they are likely to cause cancer. Microchips need to be scanned with the appropriate equipment to obtain the details of the owners. This means that the finding party will need to take the pet to either the pound/vet or another facility with the appropriate equipment to scan the pet. Because of this you may incur expenses from boarding kennels or veterinaries. With PETSMS the details are sent to you instantly. All that is needed is a mobile phone so that the finding party can send the SMS which also activates an email to your nominated address.
When you move you dont need to replace any tags. Simply log into the website and update your details.

HOW DO I REGISTER?
You can register multiple pets with PETSMS. An annual registration fee applies for each pet. When registering you can purchase a PETSMS tag with your pets ID or you may elect to organise your own tag with the registration details we provide to you.
HOW DO I UPDATE MY REGISTRATION DETAILS?
Upon successful registration you will receive notification of your login details. Once you have these you can log in to the website at anytime and udate your details. Alternatively you can contact our support desk to update them for you.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Each SMS request is charged out at AUD$1.00( Optus customers will be charged .25 cents for sending an SMS)
HOW DO I PAY FOR MY REGISTRATION?
Until further notice registration payments are only received by direct deposit to our bank. Please see our account details below. Use the order number for payment remittance advice to avoid any confusion. All registration details will be sent out once payment is received into our account.
